Book Writing FAST!

Speed and innovation are paramount in the information age. And, one of the best ways to help you harness them quickly to propel your business forward is by writing a book because it gives you the ability to share a new idea or an idea with a new twist, and do it quickly while reaching a massive audience 1. Because of the promotion tools available to you as an author-and at very little cost and 2. Because there is a low cost to entry to your buyers so you can get it in the hands of a lot of people.

But, most people think it has to take months or years to write a book, However, information in so many fields changes so rapidly that you cannot afford to take very long to write a book.

Luckily, there are several easy ways to write a book very quickly.

So, figure out how you want to write your book, and then come up with an innovative idea or twist on an old idea and get started!

Here are some ways that you can create your book:

1. Transcribe a webinar, teleseminar or summit you’ve done and turn it into a book.

2. Create a powerpoint and talk your book.

3. Create an outline and talk your book.

4. Create an outline and fill in the content with text.

5. Transcribe a video or series of videos that you’ve created.

6. Turn a series of blog posts or articles from a newsletter or social media posts into a book.

7. Do a Q & A book.

8. Turn a series of Facebook lives into a book.

9. Take a public domain book and personalize it.
(I had a client do this. He wrote a new introduction, moved one chapter, added some additional information and a conclusion, and he had his own book!)

Then, come up with a new idea or a new twist on an old idea (or reverse the order, whatever works best for you).

To help you, you’ll want to find enough sources of information to feed your brain. Creativity is defined as two ideas seen in a new way. And by reading, you’ll give your brain the raw material it needs to innovate.

Then put it away and give your brain time to synthesize the information and come up with something worth writing about (i.e. thinking outside the box). If you’re stuck, take a walk or a shower, meditate, and/or ask yourself to give the answer right before you go to sleep.

Once you know how you are going to create your book and you’ve got an idea worth writing about, you’re good to go!
