If you are a book author, you want to get high visibility for your book because no matter how good it is, if no one knows about it you aren’t going to make very many sales if any! One of the simple things you can do to sure you get the exposure you deserve is to submit the digital (ebook) version of your book to ebook directories.

There are all types of ebook directories: free ebooks, paid ebooks and both types on a single website. It doesn’t matter if you give your ebook away or sell it. Either way you will benefit immensely by getting your book onto these directories.

There are directories that deal exclusively with one category, and those that provide ebooks on a wide variety of unrelated subjects. A search on Google for keywords such as “ebook directory”, “ebook mall”, or a similar search term, will return thousands of web pages you can explore.

There are sites that only cater to certain niches including sites for “how-to” ebooks which tend to be the most profitable. You can also find sites in both broad and very niched categories ranging from self-improvement, health, real estate, stock investing, coaching to

Golf clothes for kids, and baby gift baskets.

So, whether you operate in a super exclusive niche or in one of the more familiar categories I’ve just mentioned, there is no shortage of places to feature your book.

And because the sites are niched you get more qualified traffic: people are already interested in the topic they are looking for, so it’s easier to make sales than when you throw your marketing against the wall to see what sticks.

In addition, you’ll get your book in front of audiences that you could not reach on your own, so you can greatly expand your audience.

So, for maximum exposure, list your ebook with as many directories as possible. You can never get in too many of them. This is a sure way to get exposed to hundreds of thousands or even millions of people. More exposure equals more traffic, more sign ups and more book sales as well as more clients if you have a service business!
