Time Management for Book Writing

The truth is that you are lying to yourself. I know that sounds harsh but it’s true. We all have the same 24 hours in a day, so authors who write find the time to do it and authors who don’t write, don’t find the time to do it.

So, the first thing you have to do is be determined and DECIDE.

Ask yourself, “How important is it to me to write this book?” If it is important to you and you know that you desperately WANT to write your book, you’ll take the necessary steps to make it happen.

The first step is to figure out why you haven’t started already. Do you need some instruction?

Or, are you afraid to write a book, and if so why?

Are you afraid of failure? Or, success? or both?

Or, is it that you are booked up?

Now, if you really are booked up and do have time constraints, then you’ll have to figure out your writing style. Can you write in short spurts or do you need larger blocks of time to write your book?

And then, look at your calendar and determine where you could create the time you need. You may have to give up something else in order to write your book.
